Team Sauerland’s WBC International Super Welterweight Champion Abass Baraou (7-0, 4 KOs) and IBF European Middleweight Champion Denis Radovan (12-0-1, 5 KOs) both made weight today at the East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf, ahead of their UK debuts this Saturday night on the World Boxing Super Series undercard in London.

Baraou won his title against Mexico’s former World Champion Carlos Molina in February in Koblenz, Germany and is now facing former Commonwealth and English Champion John O’Donnell (33-2, 11 KOs), from Galway, Ireland.

The unbeaten 24-year-old Baraou weighed in at 68.9kg and is confident he can win in spectacular fashion and impress the UK fight fans.

IBF European Middleweight Champion Radovan weighed in at 76kg ahead of facing the experienced Luke Blackledge (26-8-2, 9 KOs) as he fights outside of Germany for the first time in his professional career.

Radovan won his title against compatriot Ronny Mittag in April in Wolfsburg, Germany and now fights under the tutelage of new trainer Grant Smith for the first time.

Baraou and Radovan fight on a stacked card headlined by World Boxing Super Series super lightweight finalists Regis Prograis (24-0, 20 KOs) and Josh Taylor (15-0, 12 KOs), who compete for the Ali Trophy, IBF and WBA World titles, WBC Diamond title and the prestigious Ring magazine strap.
