As fans of the great sport of boxing, and fans of sports of all disciplines all across the world. We all love a tournament. There is something about a war of attrition that gets even the most mild-mannered of sports fans blood really pumping.

Tomorrow night eight men will enter Leicester Arena in the heart of Leicester City Centre to take part in a one-night elimination tournament that will leave the victor ten thousand pounds richer. It's simply the biggest prize in semi-professional boxing.

The event is brought to you by Kong Events and Goldstar Promotions and is sanctioned by the European Boxing Federation. The event promises to be explosive, and the great news is even if you are on the other side of the country, and couldn't possibly make it to Leicester, you don't have to miss out. We are very proud to announce that you'll be able to stream the enter event live from the Intu Boxing Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/IntuBoxingno1/

(Fighters from left to right)

Martin Concepcion - Martin is a former professional boxer from Leicester. He is an orthodox fighter that has challenged for the British and Commonwealth titles. He holds a record of 19 wins from 30 fights and has appeared on both The Prizefighter and The Contender: Uk vs USA tournaments.

Jack Mantell - Jack celebrates his 26th birthday on the night of the tournament. He is from Nottingham and boxes out of Chris Milky's gym, Booyar Boxing. He is a southpaw who has been boxing for two years and is the reigning EBF British Middleweight Champion. He has a 10-0 record.

Mark Holmes - Mark is 37 years old and the self-described old man of the tournament. He boxes out AV Boxing'n'Fitness in Leeds. He's an orthodox fighter who likes to come forward but can box off of the back foot if he has to.

Mike Fefera - Mike is 23 years old. Born in Poland, he lives in York. He has had 13 fights winning 12. He boxes out of The TSM Boxing GYM ran by Stephen Melton.

Bobby Begg - Bobby is also 23 years old and is from Sunderland. He boxes out of the North Star ABC and has had 55 fights. He fights out of an orthodox stance and describes himself as having massive punch power and can switch it up to southpaw. He can box but he likes to fight too.

Vinny Glover - 'Prince Vince' boxes out of Derby, and is highly ranked by the EBF in the light-heavyweight division.

Also on the card, although not pictured is Omar Kalik. Omar is also from Leicester and has 20 wins from 26 fights and is a former Midland champion and twice runner-up. He is a former recipient of The Best Boxer Of The Tournament award at the Haringey Championship.  The final man in the tournament is John 'DP' Shaw, who boxes out of his own club based in Worcester. Tomorrow night he boxes for his grandmother, his driving reason for fighting and for David Gordon Rallings, the father of a friend who recently passed away. He has 29 wins from 36 fights, mostly from the ABA and has a Midlands Title to his name.
