Crawford Horn Postponed

Former Undisputed Champion Suffers Injury

By Aaron Cooper

Former Undisputed World Light Welterweight Champion, Terence Crawford's debut in the 147-pound division has been put on hold. The Nebraska native was due to meet WBO Welterweight Champion, Jeff Horn on April 14th in Las Vegas. The bout was the main event of an ESPN Top Rank card.

Crawford has suffered a minor hand injury in training and as such the bout can no longer take place on the original date.

Top Rank promoter, Bob Arum told ESPN that the injury is not serious enough to delay the bout for a significant amount of time. With May 19th or early June being mentioned as alternative dates. The bout will remain in Las Vegas.
