Davis Investigated For Altercation With Police

WBA champ in hot water again

By Aaron Cooper has learned that WBA world super-featherweight champion, Gervonta Davis is being investigated by police following and alleged altercation with none other than a police officer.

According to sources. Davis was at a shopping centre in Virginia on February 17th. It was at that shopping centre that Davis is alleged to have got into a verbal sparring match with a man at an ATM machine. 

An eye witness claims that Davis began shouting at the man and police were called to the scene. When officers arrived Davis is said to have become agitated and began to act with hostility towards the boys in blue.

American reporters, TMZ spoke to a witness who claims that he watched Davis shove one of the officers on the scene whilst launching into a foul mouthed tirade. It is said that Davis friends were frantically trying to calm the world champion down. Going as far as to try to restrain him.

It should be noted that Davis was not formally arrested. But this is not the only spot of hot water Davis, who recently made light work of challenger Hugo Ruiz in a solitary round. Has gotten himself into. 

Davis was arrested in Washington D.C in September of last year after getting into a fist fight on the state capital’s city streets
