Sam Sexton (Champion) will defend his title against world title challenger, Hughie Fury

The fight is a voluntary defence and will take place on May 12th and shown live on Channel 5.

 

Cruiserweight

Matty Askin (Champion) takes on Stephen Simmons this Saturday (17th) at York Hall, Bethnal Green. The bout is promoted by David Haye

 

Light-Heavyweight

Frank Buglioni (Champion) faces Callum Johnson (Commonwealth Champion). Live on Sky Sports on March 24th. Johnson’s Commonwealth Title will also be on the line.

Purse bids were opened on the 14th March, the winning bid was made by promoter Mickey Helliet. The bout between Asinia Byfield and James Metcalf will serve as a final eliminator and also be for the vacant English Super-Welterweight Title.

This fight will be promoted by Frank Warren and will take place on a date and at a venue as yet to be advised. This a rematch from last year in which a cut called an early halt to proceedings.

Stewards decided to put out the above eliminator contest to purse bids to be submitted in accordance with the Terms and Conditions attached to the Board’s Head Office by 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 11th April 2018, the contest to take place by the end of July 2018.

The above contest is also for the Vacant Celtic Super Bantamweight Championship.
