Whyte/Browne on HBO

WBC Silver Heavyweight Clash To Hit US TV

The March of the heavyweights continues next weekend with the WBC Silver Heavyweight Title being contested by Brixton’s Dillian Whyte and Australia’s Lucas Browne. Not only will the fight, being held at London’s O2 Arena be aired live on Sky Sports. Boxing fans in America will be able to watch the action as HBO Boxing will air the fight, beginning at 6 pm ET.

Whyte is ranked number one by the governing body and is firmly chasing a showdown with Alabama natives Deontay Wilder. But Browne will no doubt be looking to spoil the party, having held the WBA title previously.

The two have had more than their fair share to say about one another, but come Saturday night the talking stops.

"This is a great fight and the biggest and most important in the division outside of the World Heavyweight championships,” said Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn. “Dillian has been working his way up the rankings and now sits pretty at WBC number one - we expect the winner of this fight to be in position for a mandatory shot at Deontay Wilder. It's going to be an explosive, violent matchup with plenty of bad blood between the two - don't blink!”
